The gender pay gap: where does Netresearch stand?
At Netresearch, we put great value on treating all employees equally - regardless of their gender, belief or nationality. This is part of our corporate culture, just as our transparency, open error culture, or paying a salary that is appropriate to the person’s abilities and skills.
On the occasion of the Equal Pay Day which took place on March 10th, 2021 and is intended as an international day of action to draw attention to the so-called gender pay gap, we took a look at the salary distribution between our male and female colleagues. We wanted to find out whether such a gap exists at Netresearch that needs to be remedied.
Currently, we have several positions at Netresearch in which male and female colleagues perform the same tasks and have comparable responsibilities. We are very proud to say: We currently pay all employees the same salary for the same performance.
Unfortunately, this is still not the norm in many companies. This is also shown by the unadjusted and adjusted pay gap, which is decreasing more and more across the EU, but is still present. In Germany in particular, the adjusted pay gap is still six percent, as a report by the German Economic Institute shows.
As an employer of currently more than 30 people, equal opportunities are important to us, also in terms of salaries.
