Akeneo PIM goes live at the online store Vivat!

St. Benno launched with new PIM solution with over 400,000 articles

We are very pleased that the St Benno project Vivat! went live successfully. With a clever combination of product data management with the Akeneo PIM (Product Information Management), the DataHub and a Shopware Shop, St. Benno Verlag's e-commerce systems have been raised to a modern level.

About the project

A high number of active products is one contributing factor for successful e-commerce. Effective product data management is crucial in order to actually achieve goals. The PIM and middleware solution developed by Netresearch ensures that over 400,000 articles from various data sources with a wide variety of data structures can be enriched with a high degree of automation and updated in the online channels. With the Vivat 3.0 project going live, St. Benno Verlag is supported in the development of its marketplace concept. Through Vivat! the St. Benno Verlagsgesellschaft offers a variety of Christian books and gifts. The product data management implemented by Netresearch made the system fully automated so that the number of active products could be doubled.

About St. Benno Verlag

St. Benno Verlag runs an online shop for Christian books and religious gifts and is based in Leipzig. The publishing house also has its own shop in the foyer of their building. The publishing house was founded in 1951.
